On June 25 The San Diego Armed Services YMCA and KSON are teaming up to bring back Christmas for those families who had loved ones deployed over the Holiday season in 2006. More than 500 military and their families who missed the Holidays will be invited to attend this free event where all that is magical about the holiday season will be recreated. From Santa and prizes, to a Pancake Breakfast, no detail will be left out.

The Armed Services YMCA has begun online sign-ups for families at Families who had a spouse or guardian deployed during the 2006 Holiday Season are eligible to sign up. This event is open to immediate family members only. Each guest must

bring their military or dependent ID card to event to check in.

Families are invited to attend either the 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. or the 8:30 a.m. to

11 a.m. time period. Once one section fills up, that section will be closed. Guests must be present to receive prizes. Families that welcomed new babies during the 2006 Holiday season will also be honored, in a special Armed Services YMCA Family ceremony during the 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. shift.
